The ‘Roots’ of our company

The origin of our company, Grow Organic at Home.com or GOAH, began not in the modern urban landscape of Southern California but in the rural co-operative farms (i.e. kibbutz) of Israel’s rural countryside. ‘The motto of Israel has always been to make the desert bloom’ notes Nadav Joshua founder of GOAH. ‘Since I was a child we learned on the kibbutz to live self-sufficiently and close to the earth.  My goal is to bring amazing farming technologies that work in Israel to everyone who wants to grow their own fresh organic food right in their own backyard!’

How does Grow Organic at Home.com differ from other gardening methods?

Nadav Joshua comments, ‘In Israel we have limited natural resources.  So we have to take what nature gives us and use it to get the best results.  I have designed and manufactured special Grow Bags and Net Houses to be used by every gardener.  We give you the growing materials, the proper nutrition and all the necessary tools to protect your plants and keep them healthy. What is Grow Organic Day?

Grow Organic Day is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to bring Organic Growing to future generations by installing organic gardens in local schools and districts.

‘Grow Organic Day is a celebration of living an Organic lifestyle to its fullest.’ exclaims Nadav.  Organic living is not just about food but about a way of life!   This year we are hosting a festival to celebrate organic living.  For the first time, anyone can come, see and learn all the organic options that are available to them.  An event of this size and magnitude has never been done before.  We are not just going to be talking about change. . . but we are providing the tools to make change happen TODAY.’
